It was a slightly overcast day, but the Stierplatz in Zug was in full colour when we arrived. Ladies wearing hats, drivers in their old fashioned driving gear, goggles, hats and all, and of course, many many beautiful shiny old timer cars occupied the platz. Also, there were some amazing old timer motorbikes, including Beat Hürlimann on an old Honda racing bike. There was a large tent, where we sat and had coffee while waiting to find out what the William Tell Chapter were expected to do.
We had an admirer, who with white gloved hands, felt his way around Rocco’s bike. A blind man who will never see how beautiful our bikes are but who loved hearing the sound and „feeling“ the chrome. After quite a bit of waiting and watching the skies, we finally set off on the now wet roads, following on after the old timer cars and old timer bikes towards the centre of Zug, where we drove three times round the main street of Zug to the delight of the spectators.
